Cooking was a little different. This was the beef for the reception being grilled on wood fires.

Small bar tables were set up allaround the grounds. No problem in getting a drink!

Con and Vero's wedding in Argentina

Just got back from Con and Veronica's wedding in Argentina.
The wedding was held at Vero's family ranch
a beautiful working Estancia in La Pampas about 6 hours from Buenos Aires.
We stayed with Vero's family, a truly wonderful group of people who made us very welcome.

More pool

Well the snow has finally gone and so work has resumed on the pool.
Horrible green water emerged when they took the cover off but that's all got to be pumped out anyway.

The underground drains are going in, plus new gutters and downspouts
on the garage to carryall the garage roof water into the drains.

Twenty tons of rough stone has to go in and be tamped down solid (about two thirds of it here already)
before the paving slabs can be laid.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new liner and coping go in and the slabs laid so that I can get an idea
of just how it's going to look when completed.

The crew (Keefe seen here is the Gaffer) are working hard today to lay the stone because we're due some heavy rain tonight.
This weather is killing me, I'm going to move to Arkansas, or Texas,
or somewhere with lots of sunshine!!!!
